Dr. McKisson grew up in Oklahoma and ultimately attended Oklahoma State University for veterinary school and graduated in 2020. After graduating, Dr. McKisson moved to Kansas to participate in a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Kansas State University. After completing her internship at KSU, she happily moved from the midwest to the pacific northwest. While Dr. McKisson is one of our general practice veterinarians, she holds a particular interest in preventative health and internal medicine.

Outside work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, camping, fly fishing, and spending time with friends, family, and pets (two cats and a small mixed-breed dog).
